How much does registration cost?

The lacrosse registration fee is $375 per athlete, the USA Lacrosse membership fee is $35 per athlete, and the fundraising fee is $150 per family. Registrants receive raffle tickets which can be sold to recoup $200. In addition, team managers may collect funds to cover the cost of team activities and gifts. There is a 10% discount on the registration fee for each additional player registered per family.

What do the registration fees cover?

The registration and fundraising fees cover property and supplemental injury insurance, Bloomingdale Park District and Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA) participation, indoor facility costs, tournament registration fees, and equipment costs. The USA Lacrosse membership covers athlete insurance and includes a subscription to USA Lacrosse Magazine.

When and where is equipment issued to my athlete?

Your team manager will schedule an equipment distribution. If your athlete is unable to attend the scheduled distribution or issued improper equipment, coordinate with your team manager to schedule a supplemental distribution.

What are the divisions and levels of play?

Divisions are grade-based: kindergarteners to 2nd graders participate in the mini division, 3rd and 4th graders participate in the junior division, 5th and 6th graders participate in the minor division, and 7th and 8th graders participate in the major division. Mini games are 7-on-7 with 20 minute running-clock halves, on a modified field. Junior games are 10-on-10 with 12 minute running-clock quarters. And minor and major games are 10-on-10 with 10 minute stopped-clock quarters. Each division has three levels of play: blue teams consist of novice players, white teams consist of experienced players, and red teams consist of advanced players.

How are athletes placed on teams?

Athlete placement is determined by the head coaches.

Does everyone play?

Yes. Athletes receive equal playing time at the blue level, and reasonable playing time at red and white levels.

What is the practice schedule?

Winter practices convene on various dates from December to March, and spring practices on weekdays from April to June. See the calendar for dates and times. Your team manager will communicate schedule updates via SportsEngine.

What is the game schedule?

Home games convene at Circle Park (163 Fairfield Way, Bloomingdale, IL 60108) and away games convene at other IBLA member fields from April to June. See the calendar for dates and times. Your team manager will communicate schedule updates via SportsEngine.

How can I help?

Parents and guardians of registered athletes are de facto members of the BAC Booster Club. Your team manager will communicate volunteer opportunities, including concessions, merchandising, game announcement, scoreboard operations, photography, videography, penalty box management, and field maintenance.
